That day started out like a regular day, walking out the door to head to school. It looked like it had been raining but the weather didn't look bad. When I got to school I walked down third hall to get to my locker, not knowing that only a few hours later there would be such tragedy on that hall. Then I went down first hall to go to my 1st block class, When I got to class I sat down to start my day. Shortly after Jamie Vidensek walked in with a smile on her face. She sat in front of me and started talking to her friend Magen, she was talking about prom and how excited she was. That block went by fast, I went to my locker and headed down to the Science building to my 2nd block class. I had no clue that it would be my last time. We had a project due that day, one by one someone would present there project, while someone was presenting the intercom came on and the Principal said due to bad weather school will dismiss at 1:oopm. Everybody screamed with delight. I was pretty happy myself. About 20 min. after that the weather alarm went off ,which meant we had to get in the halls. We weren't worried at all because we have had to do that a lot through the years. I sat beside the water fountain because there was no room left on that hall. We sat there for so long. It seemed like forever. It was getting closer to 1:oopm and we hadn't had lunch. We were starving. Some of the kids started getting upset and made some comments that I am sure they regreted later on. A guy across from me got a text from his mom that there was a tornado and it had hit the Enterprise Airport. Some people had checked out early but it now the weather was too bad.The staff wouldn't let any one else leave, even with there parents waiting on them. We had double doors that took you outside. There was big windows beside the door. Mr. Edgar looked out one of the windows and said man its black outside. Shortly after that he ran and slide beside one of my classmates and told us to pull up our legs, then we heard it! The double doors flew open and the glass shattered. There it was. The tornado, right in front of us. The terror that flew over me was unexplainable. I laid my head against the water fountain and started doing the only thing I could. Calling on the name of JESUS!! The screams and whales of the students still ring in my head today. The noise was horrible. Debris was hitting me in the face. All I could do was say was Jesus help us, Jesus please protect us. After that I opened my eyes and saw my school falling apart!! Our drink machine flew threw the middle of the hall. I tried to get my head under the water fountain for protection but the force of the wind was to strong I couldn't. Then I was hit hard by something on my head, I was about to pass out when God spoke to me he told me not to go to sleep. I forced myself to stay awake. And then as fast as it started it was over. I looked up and the Tornado was gone. I was sitting on my school, Kids were crying and they were bloody. I put my hand on the back of my head and it was wet from blood, it scared me really bad. Then a girl from the other part of the Science building ran up and was crying she was saying that she was the only one who could get out we need help. Some went down there. I was still sitting down. I was out of it. Ben Sparks, a boy in my class, asked if I was OK, I told him my head was bleeding and he got Mr. Edger. When Mr Edger came over looked at my head he gave me a shirt and told me to hold it to my head. I finally got up and helped a pregnant girl in my class to calm down. I was praying for God to give her peace. A teacher ran up to the shattered window and told us we need to get out now cause its about to collapse so we all got out and when I got out and saw my school, that I loved all on the ground I started to cry, it looked like a bomb had hit our school. Allot of people were going crazy , some kids were looking for there parents that they knew was there trying to pick them up. Some were very bloody and trying to get help. The others were running to there friends. There were a lot of guys on top of the school which was basically fallen debris from the building and helping pull people out. I ran to some of my friends and held them. We were told we had to go to Hillcrest Baptist church, which was down the street, to wait for our parents. I went there as fast as I could hoping my mother would be there. I finally got there and sat down on the pew and watched some of the kids go to the alter and cry. I looked around and I didn't see my mom. There were kids who were crying. I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I grabbed that shirt that I was given for my head and burried my face in it and cried very hard. My head was hurting so bad , I had sharp pains all over my head. It got really crazy in that place. The Pastor of that church told us that there was more bad weather coming, so we had to go the the fellowship hall. Terror hit me hard I was trying to hold myself together. The girl beside me grabbed me and we headed that way. When we got down there, me and some other girls started praying. I heard my name and I turned around . It was my step- dad Johnny. He was crying. He grabbed me and held me. I was crying too. He explained that Mom was blocked in at home. Our neighborhood was hit very hard. He took me and we left the church. We had to walk aleast a mile to get to his car. I wanted to see my mom so bad, my head was still hurting pretty bad. We had to stop and park our car again because we could not get to our house. There were trees and power lines down all around us. Our neighborhood was hit really hard. Some of the houses were gone. Some were demolished. When I saw my house and that it was still there. I ran towards it. I opened the door and ran to my mom she grabbed me and held me, she saw that my head was bleeding and took care of me. My head still hurts every now and then. That was the only injury, I know that I am a miracle!!! We found out later that eight students had been killed. Honestly, I was surprised that more had not been killed. Here are the names of my lost classmatesnames: Michael Bowen, Peter Dunn, A.J Jackson, Rhyen Mohler, Katie Strunk, Mikey Tompkins, Jamie Vidensek and Michelle Wilson. Aj died by pulling Brittney Crocker out from underneath a wall after he pulled her out the wall collapsed on him and killed him. After that day I had nightmares and long nights. I will never be the same!! I was forever changed that day. I had a burden for my school but after March 1. My burden has grew so heavy. I am about to start my last year of school. AND GODS WILL SHALL BE DONE!!!!!!! I WILL become a soul winner!!!!!!!!This is my last chance to reach these people at my school. A harvest is coming. We are going to have a revival and I am going to be part of it.

Winter Time

Most of you know that it is December the 2oth, cause your counting the days till Christmas and wondering when you are going to get the time to finish up Christmas shopping. During this time you have the Christmas tree and lights the fire and hot chocolate. You have the shopping and vacation and visiting ,with your family. A lot of times all of the hectic things going on we go cold spiritually. You find yourself not praying as much, not reading your bible, not studying your bible, and not fasting as much cause it's the holiday season. When you grow cold spiritually you tend to get mad quicker and more frustrated. Tend to back away from your family and friends.
Get depressed and go inside your bubble, Until your in chains and can't seem to get free. We have all in some point in our lives gone cold spiritually. The best way to break the chains and become free. Well first step is realizing and admitting that your bound. Then you need to break. What do I mean by that. I mean cry! Not cause you feel sorry for yourself but because your going before God and asking him to forgive you and when you feel his presence cry because your starting to feel those chains break!! Give it a few minutes and you will feel your self standing up and raising your hands. When you raise your hands that's a sine of victory. You start to catch yourself smiling again and pulling yourself out of your bubble. Just cause its winter time and the holiday season doesn't mean you don't have time for God!!

School is back!

Here we go again with another year, another chance to change are school!
I know that we have heard that every year and you might feel that you can't make that big of a differance. We hear other stories about kids changing there school and bringing alot of people from there school. To church and how they all Got the Holyghost and all baptiesd in jesus name. We liston to that story in awe and say to yourself I whish I could do something like that. You dismiss the Idea and say you could never do that. You might feel so small but remember this, were in the last generatrion the signs are everywhere! When you walk in your school DON'T hold your head down just because your pentecostel!!!!! Walk in that school with your head held high and remember who you are! Your God's chosen one, This is your chance to make a differance.
Whether you know it are not there's people at your school who look up to you. Speak up, don't be scared to talk to people about God! Your not a lone, God is with you. Just ask God and he will help you! All you belivers out there stand up!!! Come on belivers let's rise!!!! This is our time this is our chanse let's ROCK OUR SCHOOL'S!!!!!!!! If we don't rise, if we don't stand up in the gap who else will!!! Rebuke that idea in your head that tells you that your to small and that you can't do it!! You can God is with you so this year make it a great year!! CHANGE YOUR SCHOOL!!

The Devil Is A Roaring Lion, Walking About, Seeking Whom He May Devour!

The devil is constantly trying to figure a way to bring you down. He never quits, he is more dedicated than we are!! I am sick and tired if seeing the devil destroy people's lives.
I hate the devil with everything that is inside me!! I am determined to become more dedicated and to beat the devil in his own game!!! When we see him take someone down we need to pick that person up, and go reach for another. Church, we have the power to shake and radial or world!!! The devil knows that so he tells us that were nothing. He tells us that we can't do nothing. We all start believing that voice in are head that says were nobody. That is not true one 0f the massages at the youth congress was called " Your Not A Zero Your A Hero" ! That is so true!! Come on guys look at all the power we hold. The word of God tells us in Mark 16:15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believed not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that belief; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. See how much power we hold!! That's why we need to know the word of God cause if we know the word of God we can tell the devil no cause God tells me that I do have the power! God is coming soon, we have got to get busy!! I Have GOT to make it to heaven and I want my family to make it to heaven! I want to take others to heaven. We should check our selves and make sure that were not hanging on to anything! Everyday we need to pray for God to cleanse us make us white as snow purify me lord I want to be like you. If there be anything bad in me take it out!! If we want to beat the devil and shake our world we have to make sure were right to. Remember you have more power than the devil. Always be on guard cause the devil is seeking who he can devour!

What It Really Means To Be A Chirstain


To say you are a Christian is like saying your Christ like. Being a Christian we should be holy. We should want to be holy. To be holy you need to be holy on the inside and out. That's dressing holy looking different from the world and having clean thoughts. To be a Christian we need be compassionate toward others. Jesus was very compassionate. He was nice to everybody. Even when it made him look bad. He hanged with harlots and people who had leprosy. So, even if it might not look good to go talk to someone nobody likes and is the reject of our school we need to cause thats what Jesus would do. Remember what Bro. Matt Mattics said get the people that nobody wants and you will get the people that everybody wants. To be a Christian we need to be separate from this world. I know that is hard sometimes but we still need to be separate. Because, people notice when your different. When everybody is going to go see a certain movie and they invite you they say I'm so excited about seeing this movie. I have a great idea let's go together. Even though it's hard say I'm sorry I don't go to the theaters. Same goes for parties, and so on. People notice and it gives us a great opportunity to witness if we expect to save the world we have to be separate from the world we can't be the world. To be a Christian we need to have a close relationship with God. We need to pray with God everyday. I'm not talking about just praying before we eat. Bro. Magun preached a message on 4\ 21\04 he preached on "You Are As Close To God As You Want To Be." That is so true so many times we pray God I want to be closer to you. That is good but to be closer to God that
is up to us. To be a Christian we need to be bold and radical for God. We can't make a difference in this world being to scared to witness to people. We need to be more than pew warmers . If you can't do nothing but clean the church and witness you are being more than a pew warmer and doing a work for God. We have to start somewhere. Come on guys let's stand up and be true Christians. We can do it. Let's SHAKE OUR WORLD!!!

Psalm 91

He that dwellath in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shawdow of the Almighty. I will say of the lord, He is my refudge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy sheild and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth
by day; Nor for the pestilance that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refudge, even the most high, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels in charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot agianst a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou tramble under feet. because he hath set his love upon me, therefore I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. This passage let's us know if we just keep walking. Praying when we don't feel like prayng. Fasting when we don't feel like fasting and going to church when we don't feel like going. God will give us the strength to make it. No devil want be able to touch you! So remember just keep on walking with God he is write there with us.

Storms

Everybody has a dream a vision for their lives.

god has his own dream his on vision for our lives.

well, I don't know about you but I want what God has planed for my life and in order to do that we all have to endure a storm. God also test us to see if we can be a product that God can use. We have all been in storms and I feel like I'm in one now! I know I'm not the only one, your probaly in one now to. On 2/15/04 my paster Br. Harrolson preached a message on a Sunday night called " They Came from a Storm" He preached from the book of acts 27:43-44. I will never forget that message ! He talked about how bad the storm was and how Paul had been fasting and praying and they came close to an Island a place where 2 seas met.

commander told them to jump out and swim to shore if you can't swim then grab some broken ship pieces and float on them to shore. If you are in a storm and the wind is blowing really hard and the waves are getting higher and higher and you don't feel that you can make it anymore remember this God didn't put you threw anything that you can't do! Don't give up, If you don't have the strength to move your arms or legs anymore grab some broken ship pieces. God is there with you, He Has never left you just call out his name and he will help you.

He will give you enough strength to make it. God has a plan for your life your going to make it!!!!!

So if your in a storm or the next one that you go threw you can make it!!! Threw that storm God is making something out of you that he can use!!!!!!
